My Mother's village is very close to Himalayas in hill state of HImachal pradesh in India. It is very beautiful and holy place, as there are few pilgrimage places in the village. Thousands of people come here for pilgrimage. I got a call from my mom that there is very heavy rain and the travelers are facing lot of suffering because of this. The Losses are so big that, it has been heard that 3 people were washed away in heavy rain due to cloud bursting and several vehicles which were parked are still not traceable as it is feared that they are also wiped out. Govt ha put some efforts to tackle the situation but looks they are not enough. I am hoping that nature's fury dont go bad to worse.

I am very sorry, the north of the country suffered serious weather conditions two days ago. I hope the weather will improve where your mother lives.

My Mom is safe and in a secured zone, but other parts are badly affected, landslides and cloud bursting is occurring occasionally.

Sorry about that. Too much heat, too much rain - nothing in excess can be good.
