Sniff, Sniff, what do I smell? Is that you Kahlua? Oh man it is you Kahlua. What did you get into this time? The other night Kahlua decided to play in our outside bathroom and eat a bar of soap. The cat was on the wall and decided to throw the soap down at the dogs.
That night I spent a sleepless night holding poor Kahlua and making sure he was fine. He had a very bad night vomiting and the runs. The poor little guy was one sick puppy. Lucky for me I have medicine in the house for these types of emergencies. Once he got the suds out of his stomach, he was fine the next day.
However, today he still stunk and needed a bath. Now all is better and the smell is gone.

Regular baths are needed by all of our pets b/c they live inside with us!

My dogs get a bath every Sunday. Kahlua had his bath on Sunday and then on Sunday night decided to eat a bar of soap. I couldn't give him a bath yesterday because he was still a little sick. So he had to have another bath today to get off the order of Sunday night being sick.

@LadyDuck Yes, it is funny to see my cat tease them. The cat is so much taller than the little dogs. He even outweighs them all. He's been around for 12 years now and these little ones almost 6 months. So the cat rules here in the house, but the little ones still want to play with him.

He is almost 6 months old and I raised him from birth. The cat loves to tease him and his brother and at times gos in our outdoor bathroom and throws stuff down on them. It is sort of a game. Now I know so will have to find a new place to hide our soap. He is good now and back to his playful self.

Thanks, It wasn't his breath I smelled this time. It was the other end of him.

He must have liked the smell of the soap to eat it. Hopefully he has learned not to eat soap again. Glad he's alright.

@poehere Glad to hear he is back to his normal self. Puppies do seem to think everything is edible.

That poor dog. Cats can be very cruel. So how does he feel about the cat that did this to him?
