Have you eaten hot food and burnt your tongue?

To burn one's tongue because of hot food is quite common but have you watched your pets?
Both Preiti and this cat that does not meow will look at the food and NOT FEEL IT to find out if the food is cool enough to eat it. They will get back after a while. Smart I say

Have burned my tongue sometimes drinking hot coffee.Pets seem to have more common sense than humans.
