Smiles are free!

People who remember me from the past know that I am a firm beliver in smiles! They are cheap and you never can tell what the result will be to a person you give one to. I do not have many rules in my life but one is that I must make somebody I don't know feel a little better and the best way to do that is to toss out a smile. At times I may get a strange look, but I know that it may be a strange gesture to some. Anyway, (the sales pitch) sometime today, smile at someone you don't know. They and you will feel good about it!

Smiles reduced the risk of high blood pressure because when you smile your heart is presumed to be at peace with the veins and arteries. There is this saying " always put on a smiling face not because life is full of reasons to smile but your smile can make others to smile "

I like to smile, but in our days people are too busy looking at their smartphones to exchange a smile with a stranger.

People who smile continuously and without obvious reason get on my nerves. It can't be real.

Well, if we ever meet in real life, I guess I will put one of those surgical masks over my mouth! LOL When I first started practicing Buddhism, we were taught to carry a half smile. And after so many years that is what I carry!
