I like to visit the zoo when I have a travel. So I have already visited some zoos in different places. Panda's place is the best in the zoo. They all have air-conditioners. However, the polar bear is not so lucky although they should like the cold weather much more. They can't have an air-conditioner room. They have a small swimming pool only. I witnessed it in Moscow, Singapore and Tokyo. Try to imagine how hot it is in Singapore.

Since I have a child, so I like to bring him to see the animals. We have no more chances to see animals in the city.

Bao Bao was a panda born in USA. I know how Americans like her and in fact I hope she could stay in USA forever. But due to the rules, she was returned to my country after she grew up.

@TiarasOceanView You can search this news via the net. I felt very moved to it as many Americans felt sad to see Bao Bao left.

Pandas may be lucky too for not being poached for their tusks or some other body part.

Compare to the elephants, the pandas are luckier.

You are from China. I was there working in Chengdu a few years back. I had to go see the panda park there. It was amazing. I loved the red pandas. They were fantastic. I loved the park and spent over 8 hours there.

Lately there was an earthquake in Sichuan Province. The beautiful Jiuzaigou is ruined. Since you worked in Chengdu before, perhaps you also travelled to Jiuzaigou before.

@youless One weekend we took the bus to some place. Not sure where. It was where they had a giant Budah temple and great carving in stone. I think they called it monkey mountain or something like this. I know they had a trail leading up to the top of a mountain and a monastery on the top.

I really don't know. Perhaps it is concerning about the cost. I personally think that polar bear needs the cold weather much more than the panda.

In fact today the situation is also worse in the Arctic for the polar bear.

They are not so lucky in Mainland China. Skinny, dirty, and hot!

In my city Guangzhou the panda still has the air-conditionered place. I think in the zoos from the big city their situation is better than the small places.
