It was announced yesterday on evening news that our place will have the hottest temperature again today. It was our case colloquium in school so I drove the car. I thought it won’t be so hot because there were nimbus clouds in the morning, so I imagined the day to be gloomy. Alas! It turned so hot at high noon. I was literally dripping and soaked with insensible loss. Beads of sweat were forming on my forehead, philtrum, and even in my arms. I had to constantly wipe off the sweat with my handkerchief. I should have brought my towelette. I drove home at 3:30PM. When I entered our house, my inner green shirt was already soaking wet with perspiration. I had to sit for 10 minutes then had a quick shower after. Now, it is raining but the temperature is still hot. I wish I could stay outside and let the raindrops fall over me. The heat index yesterday was 44 degrees; maybe today, it is about 50 degrees. I hope nobody got heat stroked. Is it hot in your place now?

that is nice; even if the sun shines, the temperature is still cool. in such cases, the possibility of heat stroke is reduced.

@ridingbet I think that the very hot summer days are over for us. Summer does not last long in Switzerland.

@bluesa it seems our country is already in the center of the equator, because it is still so scorching hot.

thanks much, my friend. it rained, no! showered or drizzled a few hours ago. now, the thunder stopped roaring and the rain drops did not even moisten the grounds.

strong and hard rains after a very hot day is not refreshing as well, because after the rain, the soil evaporates the heat out and then dries quickly. hahaha!

Yeah it was hot today but fortunately I didn't have to suffer from any heat at all. I drove from here and there but I didn't have to walk under the heat of the sun for a long time and I stayed in the office most of the time.

that is great. of course, being in an office that is air-conditioned is good to keep ourselves cool. i recall when i worked in Kuwait; it was so hot outside when i go out, temperature renge from 45 to 55 degrees, but once we enter the hospital or other buildings, the temperature is cool. when it is winter (or cold season), temperatures dropped to -0 degrees, but when inside a building, the heater is on.

Oh yes, it is so hot indeed here in our place. I always have my hair in ponytail or I would be soaking in my sweat also. The heat triggers my hot flushes. Do you have that too?

no, my lady, i do not have hot flashes. but i sweat so tremendously much now. i drink more fluids to refill the electrolytes coming out due to insensible loss. so, it is a volume per volume replacement thingy.

Not as hot as yours. We had a bit of rain last night which helped cool things down - right now the sun is shining.
