What kind of a house surrounding do we want?

If you want to buy or rent a house, will the location of the house be the first thing to consider? For example,the house should not be too far from the housing gate, or it should be on the corner (not in the middle of the row) not facing other houses.
Of course there are still other important factors that influence your decision like water supply, electricity power and surrounding safety.

Here are a couple more factors to consider. Your neighbors, check out there house to see it is well maintained. That can tell you a lot about them. Also how busy the street is traffic wise.

i prefer the corner, too, because of ventilation. when you're in the middle, especially if apartment style, no air circulation. i also prefer extended roof so there's shade from the sun and against the rain.
