Adding your two cents to the comments

I don't do that a lot but there are times when I go to other people's discussions and after leaving a comment I also browse through other comments in those discussions and see if there is anything I can add to any of them. Thinking of doing that a lot more but wondering if adding my two cents to the comments in others' discussions would be a good thing or not... But if I have something to add why not do it? Not like I am annoying anyone. Or am I? Thoughts?

It is a good thing and what this site is all about interacting. I do it, most people do!

So commenting on other people's comments in discussions that are not ours is not frowned upon by others?

I think it is fine to do so but there are those that comment on every response in others discussions which I do like myself.

I am not sure that I would go as far as to reply to every comment in a discussion unless that discussion was my own or I had something to add that hasn't been mentioned or discussed.

@lovebuglena Yes there was a person here that is no longer here that used to do that..monopolize other peoples discussions. Not sure if that is rule breaking but it sure is annoying.

I often do that and it does not bother me when people get into discussions on what I have written.

I do it sometimes, but try not to do it often. As some don't like it. I'm one who does but doesnt like it. As some don't have their comments making sense to the other comment or even the post.
