She lost her jacket in Seattle airport; it is back

In July, Anne had to make an unexpected trip to Boise, Idaho to be with her sister after her husband died in a motorcycle accident. She wore a yellow linen jacket that she likes a lot on the flight to Seattle, then took it off during a layover. She somehow left it there when boarding the flight to Boise, but reported it by phone to Alaska Airlines from Boise. We never expected to see it again, though they took a report and were very nice during two or three conversations. She got a call last week that it had been found and it was shipped to her via FedEx and arrived yesterday. We were quite surprised that she got it back at all. Have you ever lost anything on a flight or in an airport? Did you get it back?

Alaska Airlines is one of the best companies I have experienced. I have never lost anything on a flight or in an airport, but Delta has been able to send our luggage to the wrong destinations at least 5 times. We got our luggage back of course, but it is a pain to be abroad and to have to wait two days to get your luggage and your clean clothes.

@JamesHxstatic Yes, it is very long, at least they are obliged to pay for what you need to buy until they find your luggage, you cannot stay two days without changing your underwear.

I lost a big bag which included my camera among other things about 3 years ago. We called several places until, at a lost and found part of the airport, they told me to come for it. I was expecting to have the bag but no camera, but I had everything back.

@JamesHxstatic I was left with no words. I can say a lot of good things about my country, but I never thought that someone would retur a bag with a camera inside.

That is amazing. So glad she got her jacket back. This doesn't happen often enough. Most people would just take it and keep it.

That is great she got it back. Once someone took my laptop from the overhead compartment. All that was left was their laptop, which I turned into the airline. The airline got us in touch with each other and I had to take a cab in Orlando to get my laptop back from them. I was pretty annoyed as it was their mistake.

@JamesHxstatic - I would guess that it's been 12-13 years since I last flew.

That is really something that she got it back. I do not recall ever leaving thing on a plane, I forgot other places and l did get things back or went back to the place to check it was still there.
