Favorite Gary Moore Songs #8 - "The Loner"

Instead of going with a theme for this particular music series (my 63rd, I think,) I am instead celebrating the life of my favorite guitarist, the late Gary Moore. We are at #8: "The Loner." From Moore's 1987 album, Wild Frontier, "The Loner" is an instrumental (there are background "vocals," but no lyrics,) that more than showcases Gary Moore's considerable guitar skills. "The Loner" was composed by British keyboardist Max Middleton, and was recorded by drummer Cozy Powell for Powell's 1979 album, Over the Top (on which Moore performed, although he did not play on "The Loner.") For his own version, Moore altered the tune, adding enough of his own changes that he was given a co-writing credit. In this series, I am going to link to as many live videos as I can, as that is where Gary Moore really shined. This is from a 1987 performance in Stockholm, produced by NFL Films.
