Not every area of the world will be filled with light. There are some locations which are extremely dark. It's "light" which pushes out the darkness. Love which covers and creates a better environment. There is a lot of hate within the world. Some may not even know why they're hating. For some, they're going through so much, they may not know how to properly channel their emotions. Of course there are some places which some may not never want to step foot in. Love will always prevail. No matter how much hate is projected. It's the love that will fill "up" the room. Love can change the hearts of many. Love can occur when one least expects it. It can be difficult to be loving when up against so many who are war like. Through faith and prayer. I'm able to still love despite my circumstances. For some when they've been done wrong. There could be anger unlike ever seen before. It's the word of God which keeps the sanity. I've been done wrong and some continue to project their antics but knowing that God and His Son Jesus Christ is with me= (Tanikka Paulk) at all times. I'm able to move forward and continue to grow with a smile on my face. Although so many have tried to steal my joy. I'm not moved by the tactics but I've discovered that my strength has increased." I'm certainly ready for my abundance." (Tanikka Paulk)

Let Gods love keep your candle burning
I agree with what you said about love here, but it is hard to do at times, to love, "despite our circumstances". How can we shine our light and love, in such dark places, that seem to almost blow out our own flame, at times? The love in all places must be the same love as Gods to blow out the darkness that envelopes all only when love is missing, and so this is a question of priorities in that love present means darkness is gone, but when darkness rears itself alive, so to speak, love has gone missing. We should try to recognise this, and return to love, simply by connecting to the maker of that love, its creator God, by praying a little prayer to him, "to make me a channel of your love once more, even now, even here, in this darkness, oh God," and then we should let our love shine through us as God's love, not just our own, which runs out of power quickly, if it has to live in the darkness, all alone.
