I am sitting here thinking about all the times I have watched Jerry Lewis on television and the work he did for Muscular dystrophy from 1996 to 2010 hosted the telethon raising billions of dollars. Jerry Lewis passed away at 91.
He and Dean Martin were very funny together and did many movies together until 1956 last movie was Hollywood or Bust. I watched many movies with both of them.
Jerry went on to do many movies over the years and singer including the song Rock-a-Bye Your Baby with a Dixie Melody.
He taught a film directing class at University of Southern California and two of the students were Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
His oldest son Gary is a musician Gary Lewis and the Playboys.
Rest in peace you will be missed by so many people.

Jerry Lewis was a splendid musician and a wonderful man. He inspired Don Francisco to do the yearly telethon in Chile for the disabled. RIP.

Its impressive to watch somebody raise so much money to help others. I wanted to cover more in my article; however, it would have been a book to truly talk about all he did during his lifetime. I saw him do interviews talking about many of his roles including the ones he raised the money to make it happen. He worked hard and I was always impressed with his ability to make films he believed in and wanted people to see them.
