What to do with back pain

My back's been aching since I can't remember when. There are days when it's not so bad but when it hurts really bad I can't find the perfect position to sleep so I can't sleep well. :(
I just put like an ointment that helps ease the pain a little and pray and it somehow makes me feel better. I also stretch a bit in the morning.
I think that I got this from work. When I was still studying I don't remember feeling any of this back pain. I just remember my old health record that says "mild scolio" but I didn't get any follow up check ups. I have this crazy weird mindset that I'm only sick when I go and get myself checked.
Now I don't get to play badminton just like before since it hurts. I also can't sit straight for too long.
Do you guys have this problem too? What do you when it happens? Are there natural remedies that can help?

I have mild congenital scoliosis that I learned to manage, yes massaging with a lineament, in rare cases when it aches I sleep laying down on a hot water bag. I learned to press the pressure points that control backache.
I have known a man, very old now, a family friend who massages me and maintains my back since I was a teen, he massages me with special coconut oil with herbs that only he knows how to concoct and applied with tuba leaves ( a native tropical plant)
I'm sorry, I know how that feels, but for those of us who has the condition we must learn how to fight or the least manage it.

@weevee18 I'm the type who finds massage soothing not painful, maybe even if there is some sort of pain I would be use to it by now. I completely trust the guy, he also treated my minor sprains when I was younger and into all sorts of fun and sports.
His name is Fred and his a member of our local volunteer police force, at his age now he is slowly teaching me the technics, as a rule, don't hard massage it when it's already sore and painful, just a gentle massage and the soothing effect of the oil, he always tells me to make the blood circulate and soften up the stiff ligamets that has been exposed to cold or stress ( whatever that means lol) make it move so it won't harden.

I get lower back pain when I stand too long. I'm not really sure what causes it. I found this online about natural remedies for back pain. Maybe you can find something here to help. It's a good site. No sales, just people talking about what works for them.
Natural cures for back pain, such as coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper can help relieve pain and treat issues related to your back.

@weevee18 You're welcome!
I hope you find something to help with your back pain. But please remember that anytime you consider using a supplemental vitamin or herbal supplement, research it first. Some products interact with medication you may be taking or can cause other problems. Not all herbal supplements are compatible with certain diseases either. So be careful and thoroughly research anything you plan on taking.

I think you need to have a check up with a doctor and see what really is wrong with your back. Aside from that you should have a regular back massage to relieve the pain and make yourself feel more comfortable. Our health is important so it is better if we treat small things about our body seriously to avoid problem in the future. A small problem in the body left untreated will get worse and be problematic and will cost us a lot of money. As they say, prevention is better than cure.
