Good evening.Been busy entertaining guest for lunch.
They are from New Mexico. One of them used to work with Mike.
Yes we use our wood stove all winter and then when we shut it down.
This is what we use it for.Displaying things on the stove.
Such fun ,That piece of wood that you see was splice up by the tree that was taken down earlier this year.
We had more compliment on this.
for some it not their thing. But for us we enjoy moving things aroudn
Have a good night and a good sleep.Something I can use

Beautiful hunk of wood for sure! I hate fires - either fireplace or wood burning stoves...way way too hot for me, but thankful we live in the south and our propane fireplace is only used if/when the power goes out.

Oh that is so cool that you have such a wood stove . . . and hey, it even has a function outside of winter! The wood piece looks so artsy . . . aren't many New Mexico folks quite artsy? Enjoy your evening and get a good nights sleep!!

That piece of wood looks like art although I have not yet interpreted what I see. I think I see a dog lying comfortably next to his master's feet. Honest! It's what I see. I'm not making it up.
I would never use a wood stove. I'm afraid I might burn our house down. Grew up in Miami, Florida. I barely know what to do with a fireplace.

@amadeo - Look at it and you can see. I see the eyes, the nose, the animal in a comfortable position and I can see the owner content to have the dog near him. I think logs have incredible pictures in them.

That's a very interesting piece of wood from your tree. Will you burn it when you put the stove back on?

We just have a gas heater. It will need to be re-lit once it starts getting cold.
