I quit my job!

Today I quit my job. I was working as a shoes salesman for some time and for that time I discovered that the persons who sell shoes are not just doing that. I never thought how much hard can that job be until I saw what is all in their job descripction. Everyday I stood late to organize the storage room, to clean after the buyers, to pack some packages for other stores. I worked at night after my shift was done. I barely had any sleep, and that over time has never been paied. So, i decied to quit it. Have I made a terrible decision? I know, that tommorow I will have no job, no income and I know that it will be hard to find a new one... However, there is one thing that I learned. It's not everything that it looks like. How many times did I heard: "he is just a salesperson, he is just standing there for 8 hours and have his income". Well, honey, thats not true... Who knows what he is doing to earn his pay check to survive in this world...

Every job matters in this world and nobody has the right to say he's just this or that.

My cousin had one of those jobs in Target, she had experienced and was considered as the leader in the position due to her resume. She was supposed to be like the boss of her sections but according to her, it ended up that the boss in general had other workers allowing them to tell her what to do and when or time to work until. If they got sick or made up any excuse, they would tell her to go in in her days off taken their position for that day (basically saying there goes her days off until they give her another one, who knows when). She quit but not only because how they were able to treat her but how it might be difficult to find another job. Luckily though, she found Home Depot was hiring and accepted her application, got called in, and now working and according to her, she is the leader for reals this time.

Oh dear I know some of these jobs can be very deceiving once you actually start working there. I hope you find a more suitable line of work my friend.

Unless you have enough savings to live off of while you look for another job it's not a good idea to quit your current job because of all the monthly bills/expenses. On the other hand, if your job is causing you too much physical and maybe even emotional stress then perhaps leaving it is the way to go.

If it doesn't make you happy nor fulfilled anymore, then there should be no regret in making that decision. What you hear from other people is not important, what should be given attention is what you feel bout the things you do and the decisions you make because after all it is your life and not theirs.

Most employers and entrepreneurs mind their own interests, sad truth. No matter how big or small a business is, they will always take advantage of its workers. I hope you'll find a good job or source of income soon.
