Even at my other house I tried and tried to get "Snow on the Mountain" to come up and grow. I never had any luck. Look at my surprise! These volunteered in my yard. This year is a very good year for them. They are growing and blooming all over the field. And under my trees. These are of the euphorbia family--related to the poinsettia. Not good for man or beast to eat, but the butterflies and bees love them. I did not even have to try.

How lovely glad they just sprang up by themselves.

I love the light green edged in white. It looks lacy and elegant to me.

These are related but not the same as poinsettia. They do produce the milky sap, though.

I suspect the seeds blew in from the fields on a windy day.

And all over the fields and roadsides. Some days I wish I could just wander around picking posies and collecting seeds.

Wildflower/weed. I have seen seed for sale, though.
