Hello fellow mylotters. Yesterday, I was't able to be on the site. It was one of those days when the hubby had the day off and we were going out of town!! Yeah, I know we're in the process of moving our trailer house over on our own lots!! Well, we got most of the siding off. Then the part of the trailer house that IS attached to the mother-in-laws house is going to take time, because every inch there is a screw!! So we decided we needed a break!! We're also trying to help our son as he and his wife are separated, she took everything that meant anything to him. She sold it!! Luckily he has his job and now is saving his money up. We were needing a cheap work car for the hubby, well, that was why we bought him a Blazer, but as of yet he still doesn't have it figured out what the problem is yet as to why it doesn't start or some times it does start and then sometimes it doesn't start. So, we bought a cheap car. He' s going to help pay for it and on weekends come help us get moved. So at least now he has wheels that he can sleep in and he can save his money for a place to live and then safe up money to get his own wheels. Then we'll have an extra vehicle!! Anyway we stopped at Mongolian Grill (a Chinese buffet) and ate. Before you leave they give you a fortune cookie and mine said "You will be called upon to celebrate some good news." Well, I guess we were celebrating the purchase of a vehicle for our son (to use) and his help we need to move the trailer house and digging ditches for plumbing!! Do you believe in what fortune cookies or do you make what he saying fit into your life?

I like to think of what they say and think it may be possible what is inside the cookies. I love to get those too Oh sorry to hear of your sons misfortune there with the one selling all his stuff. Hope now things start going good for him that you bought that car Jodee. Good news is always welcome.

I believe in fate so ya, I guess I do believe that the fortune cookies have some legitimate influence. Isn't it funny how things fall together at times.?

Congratulations on taking the next steps with your home, and I hope everything comes together nicely for you and your husband! I don't usually put too much weight behind the fortunes I get, but I did carry one around in my phone case for several months a while back. I was applying for a job with some stiff competition, and I received a fortune one day from Panda Express that said "Soon you will receive pleasant news". I got an interview with the company, but didn't get the job unfortunately. However, I have a feeling that the pleasant news was that I received the interview after all. They told me I was 1 of 4 people interviewed out of 50+ qualified applicants, so I'll take it as a success at the end of the day!
