What are your favorite flowers?

I love it when my husband gets me flowers not just because it is my birthday, our anniversary, or because my hubby feels bad for something he said or did, but because he just wants to get me flowers on a regular day. I love having flowers in the house. Sometimes, when my husband doesn't get me flowers I get them for me myself. Nothing wrong with that I hope. When it comes to flowers people usually gift roses. I love roses but they are not my favorite flowers. I'd say my favorite flowers are daisies and Gerbera daisies. When I look at them they make me smile, cheer me up, brighten my day. I'd choose them any day over roses. Do you have a favorite flower that brightens your day?

We have 5 small flower gardens around the house, I just love the African Daisies.

I am not a gardener. Don't know how to properly take care of plants or flowers. And not sure I'd have it in me to take care of them all the time. Wish I was different though because I love flowers and having plants around the house. All I have is bamboo and another plant (forget the name) that gives flowers in the winter. Oh, and I get flower arrangements sometimes or my hubby gets me some.

@fishtiger58 That's great! My hubby is not a gardener. And I don't think he'd water the plants on a regular basis. He never really waters the one plant we have. It's either me or noone.

Not a flower person. But my favorites would be carnations. Then roses.

I used to love carnations in the past but not such a fan anymore. My grandma loved them though.

Plants definitely last longer. And brighten up the house. Give it some life. But you have to take care of them on a regular basis and not forget to water them. Not sure how I'd do with that. It's not hard to water them. Just have to remember to do it and wanna do it.

I like sunflowers. To my surprise my husband recently gifted me sunflowers. They didn't seem to stand that long though. Maybe it was too hot in the house.

I love roses but they are way over-gifted. When someone gifts flowers you are sure that either the whole bouquet will be roses or it will be a mix with some roses in it.
