In my husbands family he was one of five boys. For whatever reason, God only knows.
This morning I was watching on a Sunday news program that was telling a story about a couple that was in the hospital having their fourth child after already having three daughter's. His family also had twenty girls.
Next they had a camera in the labor room, not showing the mother or the birth but showing the father standing at the side of the bed, when the doctor announced the baby was a boy.
It was hilarious, the look on that mans face and his reaction was so funny!

That would have been awesome to see. I come from a family of six girls. My family were some excited when the first grandchild was a boy. Needless to say he got spoiled by all of us.

I bet he was excited. My granddaughter had two boys and was wishing for a girl. She had Roxie toward the end of July. Happy mom.

My husband had a sister that had a boy. But because she was female her son had her husbands last name. One of the brothers daughter was unmarried and had a son, but my sister-in-law said that he did not count in our family downline to " rightfully" carry on the family surname. Lol!
