Good earplugs

I teach music, so I am in the music building day and night, or well, close to it. I start work with a before-school group at 7:20 and finish at 5:00 or 5:45 depending on what I am doing after school. During school it's usually ok, but if I am downstairs and the jazz band or chapel band (loud) are upstairs or down the hall there are drummers practicing, I can't concentrate on my work. Finally I ordered some really good, fancy-schmantzy earplugs. They are called Isolate because they are supposed to isolate your ears. Their motto is "Long Live Ears." They came a couple days ago, and I am wearing them for the first time right now. There is a classical pianist in the room next to me, a violinist two doors down, and the chapel band upstairs. I put these plugs in and-- isolate! I can't hear any of them, even the pianist next door! I think these earplugs are going to be a major stress-saver for me! Do loud sounds bother you when you are trying to concentrate? Do you have good solutions for that?
