Orchard Valley Brides is written by Debbie Macomber, published in 2010. So one of her earlier works. I have reviewed books from Linda Lael Miller, a series of books of which I am currently reading the third. These are Harlequin cowboy romance novels. I think my next choice will not be a romance. I've read too many for the time being. My point being, Orchard Valley Brides by Debbie Macomber though not published by Harlequin is pretty much the same as Linda Lael Miller and many other authors' books on cowboy romances. There are actually two separate stories in this book. The first story is Norah - the youngest daughter of three who sees how happy and in love her sisters are and wonder whether she will ever find that. The second is Lone Star Lovin', based on a friend of Norah so Norah plays a small role in this story. Typical cowboy romance novel. Not bad. I've just had my fill of those story lines for the time being. Give me something I can really sink my teeth into.

I read it also and agree it reads like a Harlequin. I'll be watching to see what you are reading next.

I read my first Debbie Macomber book last year. It's called A Season of Angels and it was a good book.

I think I've read 5 Debbie Macomber books and I don't think that's one of them. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. My daughter gets books at the airport, books that have been left on planes or benches in the airport. She's bringing quite a few DM books home from there.

I agree from time to time, these type of books are some Good reading, but I also need a break from time to time with something else a little more adventuresome. But Debbie Macomber and Linda Lael Miller are some good authors to read and enjoy.
