A Bit Of Normalcy? In A Now Crazy World...

photo I took of nests

Well, with the world falling apart...Earthquakes, Typhoons, Hurricanes and a total maniac out there playing with Nuclear, I am kind of speechless at the moment. I note that myLot is much quieter too. At least it seems so to me. I was walking missy Daisy, trying to block out all the worrying news around, looking for some normalcy, and I heard Bird song and looked up between the trees and saw these three nests just hanging around, I had to take a photo! They are just so perfect. I hope you can spot the nests? They are made by birds that my Mom says are Weavers. It calmed me to see these nests, nature happily building. Anyhow.  I hope everyone out there will have a good weekend, with so many disasters around, please stay safe and take all precautions one can to do so. Know that many of you are on my mind and in my prayers. Please keep us updated? Take care everyone. Photo is mine of weaver nests.

@RubyHawk , I hope all the government's in the world would pay attention to the fact that global warming is real, we are destroying this planet and now all this is happening.

Thank goodness they came out quite clear. Yes, it was nice to look up at them to see that nature creates beauty. Instead of hearing about all the destruction it is spewing out.

With all those disasters, we can only but pray and trust God that whatever life brings, He have God as our refuge.

Because I am so far north I will not be effected by the hurricanes (other than the price rising on Gas for our cars). But the news is disturbing the the damage is so dangerous.

Yes, it is sickening how they have raised prices on so many things. Horrific things happening, with all these natural disasters. I am happy you'll not be effected and I hope you'll have a good weekend.

When Hurricane Irma plowed through the Caribbean Sea several days ago, the Leeward Islands and Lesser Antilles Islands were absolutely devastated. Several of the islands are now 90-95% uninhabitable. But what makes it worse is that now Hurricane Jose, another Cat-4 hurricane, is following behind Irma and is now getting ready to pass through all the islands that were just destroyed by Irma. It's like a one/two punch for those poor islands. Looking on the bright side, I'm willing to bet that next week I could buy real estate in the Caribbean Islands for pennies on the dollar! Might be a good time to invest in that tropical paradise I've always dreamed about!

They say Irma is going to "hit" here on Monday. I hope it isn't bad here when it does.

I hope it won't "hit" but if it does then I hope it will have calmed and not be too destructive.

wow, i like the picture of the weavers' nests dangling in the edge of a branch of the tree. i like to see also, how these birds weave their nests. i think i saw on NatGeo that weavers put some blue ribbons and any blue items in their nest to attract female birds, or dance their courtship dance.

I am so happy you can see the nests, I was not certain they showed clearly. Yes, bird song somehow says to me all is okay... Yes, nature is showing how truly frightening it can be around the world today.
