It's been, well what, a week or two since I used Gary Moore in one of my music countdowns. We are at #5 in my Favorite "Strange" Songs, which is "Strangers in the Darkness."
From his 1987 album, Wild Frontier, "Strangers in the Darkness" finds Gary Moore and keyboardist Neil Carter in a mellow mood, resulting in the ballad.
Unfortunately, the tune was not released as a single, even though it's one of Moore's finest efforts.

What took you so long to work Moore into a new list?

Not sure I ever heard that one, but I am a fan of Strangers in the Night.

That was one of the songs that were cut. It was close, though.
