Everything is "Normal"

Just another update on the situation with my leg, since last night I mentioned that it was red and kinda puffy in the area where I got the sclerotherapy injection. I ended up calling my doctor's office first thing in the morning and inquiring whether or not that was normal, and I was assured that it is. I was told that side effect should go away in a few days and I should have some relief from the pain then. In the meantime, I can use a warm compress on the area for pain relief. Now that I know it's "normal," I can quit worrying about it. Although I will still keep an eye on it in case it starts feeling unusually warm or hot, or looks otherwise "abnormal." I sure will be glad when all of this varicose vein treatment is behind me and my legs start feeling better.

I am glad that the doctor reassured you. It will take a few days, but I am sure you will feel a lot better after this surgery.

I sure hope so! I'm not sure how long it's supposed to take until my leg is completely normal again. Hopefully not too long.

@Srbageldog I think that the time it takes it's individual, but it should not take too long.
