Apparently there's loads of us English here. I thought it I did a tea drinking thread they would all appear. We do like to drink tea. Branching out nowadays in herbal teas now, we are. Common England let's talk tea. Who has tried Twinnings cherry Bakewell Indulgence green tea? I love it.

I've never heard of it, although I don't really drink a lot of tea.

@SerenityEngel - I can't think of a single tea room here. But we do have a lot of coffee shops that do tea as well.

@teamfreak16 New business venture! Set up a tea room. Serve scones and jam with it. Afternoon tea and scones. That's a thing over here. That's a proper English experience. could bring in a few bucks.

As we now have so many different coffee shops in the uk, isn't it about time tea shops open in the States?

I am not English but do like herbal teas. I was even thinking of importing them for a while but it didn't work out. But now I am retired and not working anymore.

@SerenityEngel It took me 40 years of work to qualify because I reached 65. Are you still working?

Good idea! See, you got one already within seconds... I saw you met Arthur, but there really are many other members from the UK on here... On the old myLot, we used to be able to see members by countries, but not on this new version. Let me try to introduce a few to you... There are long term British members like Owlwings, Koalemos and Mike197602... Then there are Fleura, LilyBeBack, Jackalyn, or Gillygirl... Some are not too active recently like JaboUK, boiboing, garymarsh6, or kevin1877uk... I know I'm still missing many more... If you were on Bubblews, many British members there came here too... Oh, I love twinings - I haven't tried cherry bakewell green tea though, sure sounds interesting... I've tried these flavors...

I'll keep my eye out for those UK members. We need to come together to talk about the weather, tea and queuing. We should do that in the next Olympics. It's a gold medal for sure.

@SerenityEngel I can drop a few more usernames for you... Poppylicious, johnnydod, Orson_Kart, WorDazza, TheRamblingMan, ison_1, and Vivenda... And I also know members who are British but not in the UK - among them live in the US, Spain, or Italy...

Not English here, but when I lived there I did drink up the tea..PG Tips was okay with me. I like the Irish teas too like Bewleys. Over here, they have a tea called Red Rose tea..its the best. I am not much into herbal teas.

PG Tips is what I grew up drinking. I still do for normal tea. In fact I have a cup of that right now! What a cliche! I am drinking a cup of pg tips tea right now. Those stereotypes of us are correct.

I often try new teas, especially by Twinings. Cherry Bakewell did not appeal but since April I have been hooked on their China Rose. Greetings from Not-so - sunny Bournemouth!

@SerenityEngel Only large Sainsbury's branches sell it or you can get it from Twinings' site. Since last posting I am sampling and enjoying Newby's milk oolong I was in Gloucestershire last year, giving a talk to a group of Women's Institute members near Stroud.

@asfarasiknow Nick that sounds totally rock 'n' roll. The bloke I had a date with the other week was from Stroud. The cultural highlights of stroud are that roundabout with the mcdonalds by it :-D

I like Twinnings but never tried that brand. I stick with more traditional flavors.
