So the cover shows a ship sailing over the edge of the Earth.
Which must be a reference to the world being flat.
But if the world is flat, how come cats haven't knocked everything off the edge of it already?

The point is cats love knocking things off of flat surfaces. If the Earth were flat, cats would be lined up at the edges pushing things off...
