Pyrex! Do you have any?

I am 66 and when I married many years ago Pyrex dishes were very popular. Well after 45 years I still have and use my Pyrex pieces. I love the different patterns and sizes they come in. The various shapes are attractive and useful for little leftovers to a casserole for a large group. Some things you never outgrow.

I am buying new pyrex bowls with lids, some are pretty, but none are like the vintage ones. Glass dishes are so much healthier than plastic for heating things and storing things. I have a few older pyrex pieces, and I exploded one when I was a newly wed the first time.

@BelleStarr good morning to my lifelong friend. Wow the childhood ones are collectibles according to what the collectors of Pyrex are looking for. I did not realize they were in such demand. Enjoy your Monday!

I have a very old glass Pyrex bowl and a measuring cup. The measuring cup measures both cups and milliliters so I hope its paint never wears off.

Why don't you get a permanent marker and copy the measurements before they do wear off?

I love my Pyrex bowls, plates, and casserole dishes. I have some that belonged to a dear friend. I don't use them to cook with because I don't want to damage the design.

I remember back in my elementary Home Economics class, Pyrex is a home brand for baking wares.
