I went down a whole size!

... in my feet! Darn, I wish it was my clothes size instead. I have always been a Nike's girl. But, I'm finding Nike's are less comfortable and the quality has gone down hill. Time to sell all my Nike's! I have been eyeing these Addias Cloudfoam Ultimate Sneakers a few days ago! What I liked about them was the style since they remind me of Yeezy's and also because there is cushion foam so they're extremely comfortable. Strange thing? I am a whole size smaller in this brand! I am normally a 7.5 and they were way too big. 7, still big. I had to purchase these in a 6.5! I also bought a black pair, but they'll be mailed home this week since the store was out of stock.

I, too, have noticed that Nike's quality has gone downhill. I have always been a Nike guy! Except for a while in college when I was really into tennis, and then I owned a lot of Fila shoes, since that was the popular tennis shoe then. I bought a pair of Brooks recently, and they are extremely comfortable; I may have to buy a few more! I've seen a couple of pair of Saucony's that I like the style of, but I've never bought their shoes before so I don't know how comfortable they are.

Ah yes! I am quite disappointed in their quality. The ones I have are fine, but the newer ones are no-no's (well for me). I used to like New Balance and Sketchers. My sister loves Brooks! Saucony's used to be really popular, but now I saw Costco have them and they're like the poor quality kind.

@moffittjc My New Balance Sneakers are hiking shoes! Totally comfy but now beat up. :) Hope the new Fila's serve you well. I have never tried Fila's before.

@infatuatedbby I do have one pair of New Balance that I love, and they are very comfortable. They are my running shoes, so I do put a lot of wear and tear on them when I work out. So far, they are holding up really well. I just bought two new pairs of Fila's that I got on sale at a ridiculous price. They seem very comfortable, and I like the style, so I will see how well the quality is over the next couple of months as I break them in.

Shoes are just like clothes. Different brands can be different sizes.

This is the first! I can see 1/2 size, 7 or 7 1/2, but never smaller than that.

We actually reduced biking to just 2 times a week. We're going to the gym! I am strictly always a 7.5 in all my footwear. So it was shocking to see I am a 6.5 in this brand,

@infatuatedbby That is different Michelle. I went not too long ago to get a new skirt and I went down a size and I was so so happy and proud of myself. Usually in winter I eat a lot and in summer I hardly eat. So far I am not that hungry and am not eating a lot.

@Hannihar My feet is still the same for other brands just this one, not. But it is a good thing to go down a size :) I'd like that too.

My shoe size has expanded a bit since I have gotten older. I wear about a half size bigger now. I used to wear an 8 but these days an 8.5 is more comfortable.

Ah gotcha! I am still a 7.5 in other brands but this shoe I have no clue. But comfort is #1 priority so whichever size works best for you, go for it!

That's a pretty big difference! I've heard of certain athletic shoe brands being wider or narrower . . . but this would be about the length. Good thing you were able to try them on!

I tried the Sneakers on in stores my original size and was like whoa ! So I figured half a size would do & with socks. But nope needed to go down another size! I think it's just this style. Because other addias in the past I never had a problem.

I've never had a whole size drop for shoes even manufacture so it's very shocking! I am generally half size up or down. But yes different brands , styles , different sizes :)

I'm not surprised. All shoes are made differently and the size varies by brand.

This happens in different brands of shoes. Before I left to come here all my shoes were a 7.5. I never wear them and now they are all too tight and small for me. I think the last time I bought shoes I was now at an 8.5 and in Nikes I was at a 9. I don't have that big of a foot but going barefooted all year long my foot has gotten wider for sure and maybe longer too. Not sure but it is possible.
