The world is decidedly uninspiring at the moment.
Oh, there have been silly weather patterns, a few natural disasters, dictators playing games which may end up as a loss for both sides ...
Even a Prince falling in love with an American actress does nothing for me. Although, Oh My Gosh, orange-haired dark skin-toned royal babies would be beautiful.
Facebook was awash with photos of happy children in school uniforms on the first day back after the summer holidays, and my eldest nephew began his university days in London {he could have gone to Oxford, the fool!}
I feel as though September has been a bit bleurgh. Stuff has happened, but nothing has happened. The earth has continued to turn but each rotation has brought forth just another day of uninspiration.
Still, in Good News, at least this month has passed by relatively quickly. And today is Pay Day!!! Who doesn't love Pay Day!!!?
I want my Oompf!

Yes, Pay Day at work, proper pay that I've properly earned and which pays my bills! Sorry this year has been horrid. :(

@cacay1 No, I meant proper bill paying Pay Day! Most places here pay at the end of the month. For me it's always the last working day of the month, hence today.

@Poppylicious October was a cooler month when I was a kid, it is true that the recent years it has been warm. The warmer here has been 2013.

Over the last few years, October has been relatively warm. I remember the first October weekend in 2011 we went to the seaside and everyone was in shorts and t-shirts!

@poppylicious My pay entered my bank account this morning and it looked so pretty and full of exciting possiility - a quick dash over to Paris for lunch at Maxim's, a painting from the Gallery of Frost to hang over the mantlepiece, a new frock for the missus and an evening at the Opera House in Vienna. Then half an hour later it had been deftly transferred to pay the gas, electric, insurance for house, life and car, TV, phone and all life's other etceteras. Now I'm left with squat. Diddley squat.

I love money going into my bank. I also quite enjoy spending it. It's just a shame it doesn't last long!
