Florida police officer has rescued more than 60 stray cats in over 2 years

Gretchen Byrne who is a 18 year veteran of the police in Boca Raton is known for having a heart of gold by picking stray cats she finds on patrol and either taking them to her home or leaving the cats at the police station for fellow officers to adopt them as pets.
Byrne started this practice over two years ago when she saw a bunch of cats in an alley looking for food.
Byrne has adopted at least 63 cats in over two years as a member of the Boca Raton Police Department.
Gretchen does not take the stray cats to animal shelters since they have too many cats for them to handle to be adopted.
