Well nobody seemed to be interested in hearing about my escapades in life and love or what possible crimes I may have committed, so I thought I would share with you guys that I am getting my first tattoo. I was going to wait till my 40th birthday, but the housemates have talked me into getting something small to see if I can handle the pain, and knowing my addictive personality, probably unleash some sort of addiction to these things. It's going to be a butterfly, pictures to come later. Wish me luck! I got my "party dot" last weekend and it hurt like hell!

It takes time to get a response at times so don't get discouraged! :)
Good luck on your tattoo. It helps if you respond on your discussions too.

Everything happens for a reason and maybe tonight just isn't the night to spill my guts on my crazy love story....

@allen0187 it makes my teeth hurt. And my roommate is wincing in pain. I think I'm gonna cry for sure. Thinking of bailing on this one.

@starflye78 don't bail out! Quitters never win and winners never quit!

@allen0187 well this tattoo party just came to a screeching halt. I'm not bailing- and I can't begin to describe the drama, or two hearts being broken. This sucks....

When I was in my early teenage, I had my first and last tattoos though that was not entirely my choice. I was at my cousin's place and some of my cousins were getting their tattoos too as my elder cousin had the tattoo machine at his place. I also just got carried away and allowed three tattoos on my body. Though they are not big and decorative, I used to regret having them but now I make as if they do not exist instead of living with regrets. With time, my personal philosophies of life evolved and one of my principles go against having tattoos on a body that isn't permanent. I believe that as we are not the body and the body will sooner or later perish, we must not focus on embellishing something that is material. I do respect your views and your decision for getting your first tattoo but I shared my views too. All the best with your first tattoo.

They definitely addictive. You will start to see everything as a potential tattoo.
