Fake people: How to deal with them?

I don't deal good with fake people. I have found that a lot of people are that, which is probably why I'm more a loner. I cant seem to make "good friends". My mom says that is because I give so much they then expect it and then I find out they are fake anyways. I find it hard to trust people for the most part anymore because they are fake. Once I figure it out I just bow out and don't deal with them. I close down and that is that.

Do they always get the message when you do that? I have tried this also, but actually had the person not take the hint. Guess I did not give off a strong enough signal I wonder if they is another method? I check back on the post to see what others say since I'm the first to respond.

We can find them everywhere. Especially in offices. Can't help but ignore

I have known so many fake people in my life. Most of them I ignore but once in awhile I will give it another try and see if I might have been thinking the wrong thing about that person. Most of the times my first impression was right and I ignore them completely.
