I just got a suggestion. I always check them out. Usually they come from a very reliable source and my instincts tell me there is someone here at myLot who is looking over me like my own personal guardian angel.

Thanks for accepting my suggestion invitations and I do the same with you and other mylotter friends who might give me some suggestions but I hope they might not feel bad if I find it not suitable to participate due to some reasons and will tell it to you on a private message as I don`t want you to feel bad about it

I hardly ever use it. I only send suggestion to those I know for sure will relate to the discussion - and even that, I always make sure they have not been on the discussion. As for receiving them, I don't mind one way or the other - after all, it's still up to me if I want to read and/or interact with the suggested discussion.

I think I used it one time when I knew someone was looking for that specific info that was written about. Otherwise I don't like bugging people by suggesting posts to them. I do not mind if people suggest a great post to me now and then.

You see it below discussions started by others - the button is between 'Tag' and 'Report'. You can suggest them to your followers. And if you receive any suggested discussions from any of your following, it will show up in your 'Suggestions' link between your 'Messages' and 'Offers' on the drop-down menu under your avatar/username tab on the top left-hand corner of the page.

I take'em as they come. If I didn't want any, I think there is a setting in my account somewhere that a can toggle to tell the rest of the world not to bother me. But then, what would be the point?
