You Ever Think Of Your Death Song

I am poor so will probably be cremated. They say if you request it people who served honorably in military can request a burial, but never looked into it and not sure if I would want to be buried. My brother has already coined a term for my tombstone. "it was good." Every tme he makes a dish I get annoyed because always asks me how is it? Not sure as to why but annoys me. He makes good dishes, but he is kind of an ego maniac and so I just tell him it was good. My sister caught on and she goes it is how he says it is good, but kind of had to spell it out to her by doing my voice totally different one night. Anyhow, brings me to death, hell can't go to a concert anymore without taking a risk. Might not make it back home. If that is indeed the case, how would I want my funeral.? No preacher here. Just Music. Thought Rage Against the Machine, but sure they would keep me up at night. Would rock though. Rancid and Social D are also my favorite, but might make me want to still be alive. So next is a band who says go out in style. Yes this is the one. No preacher just people rocking to a tombstone that says "it was Good." How about you?

I will be gone so I do not care how I will go out.

Its for the people left behind though, not you. You are just the reason they are there and giving them hope to carry on. My take anyway.

@crossbones27 I do not want anyone crying when I am gone. I told my family that. Spend time with your family while you are alive.

@jstory07 That is what I am trying to say more or less or least trying. No sadness bring the party because that is what I would want people to do.We here, we die and lets just enjoy it while we are here. and now that I am gone, no big thing live your life in a way that matters. Hence the song.

Hm, yeah the thought chills me at times, too. I'm not close to anyone young - and I do not want kids, ever - so - I don't actually know if there will be anyone around for it. I don't know what they do in those cases.

I've thought of a few. "Sailing" by Rod Stewart and "In a Little While" by U2 always come to mind. It will probably be "Defying Gravity" by Jimmy Buffett, though.

@crossbones27 Try not to hate life. It can be hard but we have to be happy for each day that we wake up on the right side of the dirt.

Yeah, and do not forget taxes. I hope they figure out where heaven is in the universe because they sure seem to take heaven out of life to get there.
