This morning our family friend came to get Mom for her CT scan. I may or may not have mentioned it, but I took the day off of work so that I could go with her.
Mom had her CT scan, which they took her in for almost immediately (we got there earlier than her appt. time, which was 9 a.m., the scan took about five minutes, and by the time we left the building it actually was 9 a.m.
After we left there, our friend took Mom home, as she was tired, and then the friend took me to Costco to pick up my medication, and while I was there I did a bit of shopping for the house. They didn't have something there that Mom asked me to get, so we came back to town (the Costco we go to is over in the next town from where I live) and went to the grocery store Mom and I usually go to, and I got the thing Mom wanted me to get plus a few other things.
After I was done there, we stopped at Panda Express to get lunch (Panda was in the same shopping center as where our grocery store is, so...), and brought it home to Mom.
Our friend had to leave, as she got a call from the office that they needed help, so I ate my lunch and Mom ate part of hers.
I took Angel for a walk, and then Mom and I sat and watched TV for an hour or so, then I asked if it would be okay with her if I left the room to "compute" for a while, and she said yes, so here I am for a bit.

It is a lot of responsibility caring for a sick family member.
