Photo Collage help!!!

I'm finally ready to publish my next e-book but I am having problems creating the cover photo.
I need to know how I can create a 2 picture collage (one on top of the other) without losing most of the picture? I have tried photocollage.com and fotor.com, but both remove a lot of my picture when I put it together.
It was suggested that I resize it, but not only does it not work, it causes the picture to become blurry.
What I see on both these sites is the 2 picture template is wider than taller, but I need a 2 picture template where it is taller than wider.
I know this can be done, because I did it before. Unfortunately I did it before, I think, with the help of a good friend who died at the end of August, so I can't ask her.
Any suggestions?

Using the Paint program with Windows.
Or use FreeImageConverter to resize the photos without blurring them and then Paint to create the collage.
Or just email someone the photos and have them do it for you.

Okay, I don't understand how to use Paint. I will look into the next option and see if I can resize and use one of the other sites to create it

Hi @changjiangzhibin89, that's okay, lamby helped me and I am ready to publish. However, the rest of this week is packed with jobs that need to be done, so it probably won't get published for another week or two.

@JolietJake helped me by doing it for me. So, if you are connected to my Facebook author page, when I publish it (which should be sometime next month) you can see the cover he put together.

@JolietJake Awww, no, he has different compartments in his brain and maybe people who think this only know him when he is in his "jerk box"
I have seen his "helpful box" many times, so his jerk box doesn't bother me...
I also want to give you credit for putting the cover together, but I want to make sure it is okay with you first. What do you think?

It is very easy if you have an iPhone or android phone
I uploaded digicam photos online before and from the site I save images on my iPhone to edit
I find iOS photo collage better than android but make up selfies I use android app
This is blurry because this is a screenshot. Cannot upload the original photo here (bigger size).
