I was snuggled up in bed with Lucifer and Lemsip by eight-thirty last night. All cosy warm, wrapped in my duvet. I was asleep by nine-thirty, meaning I managed a whopping eight hour sleep, albeit with a stumble to the bathroom for a wee in the pitch black darkness of an early morning hour. Eight hours sleep is a novelty for me, especially on a school day. It just doesn't happen. Even last night's dreams played ball and weren't too feisty. This morning I am writing this whilst sat in a sauna. Or is it a bus? It sounds like a bus, and has fully clothed people on it, but it feels like a sauna. It's become a very loud saubusna, because that pesky Down Under Woman has boarded. Nobody should be that happy and that sociable at seven o'clock in the morning. What is wrong with people!? There is an awful lot of rain this morning, leaving the gutters free to tempt little paper boats, and their little non-paper owners, into the sewer. See the clown drooling in the drain? I have no brolly today. My brolly finally broke'd so much that i had to lay it down to rest. I loved that umbrella. Six years ago today I let a man I'm not married to stick his tiny hand in my belly and pull out my left kidney, thus allowing Husband all these years of NO DIALYSIS!!! Six years! How time does fly ...

Is "a brolly" an umbrella? It's still warm and sunny here, the air is more and more polluted. Now people want rain, when it starts raining we will complain. You did a beautiful thing for your husband, a life with no dialysis is surely a happier life.

Indeed, a brolly is an umbrella.

You and your husband are lucky to have compatible kidneys. He is extra lucky to have such a loving wife. We got caught in the rain before, the umbrella which is always in the car, for some reason, was not there today.
