Hero dog saves a boy and his mom from a rattlesnake

A female boxer dog named Nala saved the life of a ten year boy named Cole Lewis and his mother by stepping in front of the duo on Sunday when they walking in a neighborhood in Lancaster California when a rattlesnake suddenly appeared in front of them.
Nala stood her ground as the rattlesnake bit the dog on her nose and then the rattlesnake crawled away.
Anthony Borquez who is the step father of Cole took the dog to a veterinary hospital where the female boxer was treated for the snake bite.
Nala is expected to make a full recovery after being bitten by the rattlesnake. The cost of $4,000 in medical bills. The family that owns the boxer Nala is asking for donations from the GoFundMe website
