Boiled Eggs Cooked in chili sauce

This is very popular food in Sumatera, especially West Sumatera. Very spicy but delicious. Hen eggs are usually boiled this way or fried like an omelet. Boiled or fried eggs are much cheaper than fish or meat. A plate of rice + one chili sauced boiled egg is sold at 10,000.-- IDR (less than 1US$), while a plate of rice + a piece of meat is 15,000.-- IDR (approximately US$1.15). Again it depends on where you buy it. At expensive luxurious restaurant such as in hotel, the price may be twice higher.

Here they are:
3 or more hen eggs
6 cloves of red onion
4 cloves garlic
10 pieces of curly pepper
3 large red peppers
2 bay leaves
3 pieces of orange leaf
salt
Seasonings
pepper powder
Step
Boil eggs when done peel them
Then fry chilli and onions and garlic half done then blender it.
Then re-cook the blendered ingredients and add seasonings
When ingredient is done, pour it over boiled peeled eggs. Now ready to serve it
