Today, I was supposed to perform a part time job hunting online. This site provide a vast companies which employ people for real jobs, 9 to 5 job where people draw salaries, real money. However, the job site requires an email address.
Now, if you were in my shoes, would you create a new email address specifically for the job purpose or would you use your current email address to register the site?
I thought of using my current email address which I used to join online earning sites. I had never use this email address for important tasks. I don't provide email address to banks nor income tax or government websites.
I would be glad to hear your opinion about this matter.

So if you are going to apply for a job, would you register a new email address?

if they ask for a cv/resume, you will put your real name there. if you apply through email and they reply through email, they will tend to remember you name on the cv, not peachpurple.

@peachpurple if you're concerned about your privacy, maybe you can do nickname and surname, like for example if your name is jennifer chan and nickname is jen or jenny so jenny chan or jen chan, then it's still easier for them to search it on their files or email.
don't expect them to remember jennifer chan is peach purple if they are processing many applicants.

You should open up a new email account just for your job hunting.
