First of all, read the Community Guidelines, as @topffer has recommended, then start by looking at other people's discussions, using the "Explore" menus and, when you find some on which you think you have something useful to say, respond to them. The more that you interact with other people, the more likely it is that they will want to interact with you.
Don't worry if your English is not perfect. myLot is a very good place to practice and improve your English. As long as you can make yourself understood, nobody will criticise you. When you write your own discussions, they must be in your own words and try to be as descriptive as possible. Avoid simple questions which can be answered with just one or two words - things like "What is your favourite ...?" or "Do you like .... , yes or no?" are not allowed here. Remember that a discussion is like a conversation and you want to find out what people's opinions and thoughts are on a topic and to be able to have something to say in return!

The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
