I was a fifth grader when I saw my grandmother's ghost staring at me and my aunt through the window of her house. It was the 3rd day of her wake, we went home to get a few things. We were already opening the gate when I looked up and saw her seated on her favorite chair by the window. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I was shocked. Is it her? Was it real? It took a while before I could finally blurt out, "That's grandma over there!" and my aunt said, "Yes, it is her!" I saw it! We both saw it! We went back to the wake and told our relatives.They couldn't believe it either. I had no idea what to think back then, but upon reflection, I could still remember how clear and real she looked like seated by the window. That's an experience I'll never forget. Now, its almost All Saint's day and we'd surely be visiting our beloved grandma come the 1st of November. May the souls of our dearly departed loved ones, rest in peace forever with the Lord.
