Shawn Ortolano who is the founder of the charity called "Spokes Of Hope" in Staten Island New York.
Ortolano repairs old bicycles and he gives the repaired bicycles free of charge to needy children in his neighborhood.
Ortolano makes a deal with people in his neighborhood like giving away free bicycles if the person has an old bicycle that is old and it can be traded for a newer version.
Ortolano started his charity in 2017. Ortolano has given away around 125 bicycles to need children as an act of kindness so his son can have a great life himself.

A retired priest in Western Australia repairs old wheelchairs and when he has a containerload they are shipped to Africa to be used by those who have lost limbs through land mines. He now has a waiting list of volunteers wanting to be involved. Some people do marvellous things don't they?
