Now, what is All Saints Day? It is the day that Christians remember all the holy people in our tradition who have gone on to heaven before us. Hallowed (holy) people... which is why Hallowe'en (All Hallows Eve) is celebrated the day before, just like Christmas Eve is celebrated the day before Christmas.
All I am doing for All Saints Day is teaching school, but since I teach at a Christian school, my classes have learned the hymn "I Sing a Song of the Saints of God" and we will sing it today.
If you do, how do you celebrate All Saints Day, or how does your culture celebrate it?

In Panama which is a Catholic nation, my relatives and I would go to church. In America All Saints Day is the birthday of the New Orleans Saints football team was born in 1966.

We ask for the intercession of saints that are special to us. My kids especially like St. Therese of Lisieux and St. Josemaria Escriva.

Vince grew up in a very staunch Catholic household so all these days were important in their lives at that time. I'd forgotten the connection between Halloween and All Saints Day.
