November the first this year was my elder daughter's 21st birthday. She is with her mom and sister, while I am away at work in another city. I wish I'd been with her on her birthday but regretfully I had to be back to work. Not seeing them often would not be so bad as we often WA and LINE almost everyday. She usually invite her friends to eat out together and her mom cooks special food.
How do you celebrate a birthday? Do you invite all your relatives and friends to come to your homes?
The photo is mine of my grown-up daughters.

I'm sorry you weren't home for her birthday but I'm sure you can celebrate with her when you do go home. I hope she had a great day

We do, too. Sometimes her friends ask her to go to the restaurant to eat together.

@yanzalong With my son, he celebrates with his friends. I give him money for that. But after celebrating with his friends. We have our own celebration with our own family friends and relatives.

My daughter never asks for anything for her birthday. Even two of my daughters don't demand anything that is beyond my wallet.

Happy birthday to your daughter! We usually celebrate birthdays by cooking something special or eating out with family and relatives.
