You can blame @FourWalls again.
Every time she has posted one of her 'cowbell' songs lately, I've had a cowbell intro from a different song insinuate itself into my consciousness.
Yesterday, I started hearing the intro for 'Dance The Night Away', so I pulled the album for this morning.
This album also features an interesting cover (of a Linda Ronstadt cover) of the song 'You're No Good'.

@JohnRoberts -- I remember hearing it on the radio, and it just made me cringe and run for my Ronstadt albums.

@JolietJake They essentially "Van Halened" it meaning it sounds like any other Van Halen song.

I don't play this as often as I would if I had a better copy of it. Someone mishandled it (I got it used) and one of the songs on side 2 got 'trashed'.

@koopharper Something was spilled on it I think...regular cleaning won't get it out of the grooves. This may be the album I finally try a wood glue treatment on. It is claimed (and I have seen many collectors verify it) that if you put a thick coating of wood glue on an album and then allow it to fully dry, you can then peel the glue off and it will take whatever is embedded in the grooves out with it.

@JolietJake - For some reason, when I am out on my bike, my brain picks "The Electric Slide" for me. Try as I might, I can't override it. Stupid brain!

I ordered this on vinyl from Columbia House. I still remember the day it came in the mail. Played it non-stop for quite awhile.

While I had heard cuts from it, it took me until after '1984' to actually get my own copy...although I had all the others
