Are your discussions hotter than hell?
In your opinion, what does a discussion need to become hot to the point of entering in the hall of Top Rated Discussions?
A flashy headline? An unprecedented content? A fancy / formal writing? Maybe always post with some picutre to illustrate the subject?
What would be your advices for it?

Controversy, something that will make people's minds explode. My most successful discussions are about controversial topics.
