20 or more Killed by gunman at Sutherland Springs, Church in Texas 11.5.17 Sunday

Dallas, Texas
November 5, 2017 2:50pm CST
I can't believe it. Not another mass shooting? What is going on people? The shooting occurred in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
More than 20 people could be dead after a man walked into First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs in Wilson County Sunday morning and opened fire.

@lookatdesktop I agree with you. It's their 10-15 minutes of fame and people take advantage of it sadly.

The media is having a field day with this stuff. I think it would do us all good not to watch the news for a few weeks. Maybe this crazy behavior will die down sooner. As long as the media continues to sensationalize the actions of insane people, it will only get worse.

@lookatdesktop I don't fault the media for reporting the news good or bad. We have problems in this nation that need to be addressed.

@lookatdesktop I´m sure that most of those shootings have nothing to do with terrorism.

@marguicha , I agree. They are a terrorist act by an insane person who has not been properly diagnosed nor properly medicated or perhaps, put in a padded cell so they can't hurt anyone.

The basic theme seems to be that people who are frustrated with the way things are going based almost entirely on mass media and social media about politics, terrorism and all that bad news reporting that they just snap and go bananas.

@lookatdesktop I don't remember who I said that to, but basically the same thing. Never know when some nut is going to be in a store where you are shopping. Getting so you don't want to go our for anything.

@m_audrey6788 , There seems a mass effect of malcontents in America. People seem to be so bored with their own stupid life that they want to take their frustrations out on others.

That is terrible that people cannot go to church in America without being wiped out by an assassin. Pray for Texas.

Pray for Texas and I will do that. I will pray for America and for that matter the planet earth. Is there no place left that is safe or even sacred? Stay safe, and whatever you do, look out for yourself and the ones you love. Keep doors locked, look around you. If you should hear the sound of gunfire, the best thing is to lay low, duck for cover. Seconds count.

We are having an epidemic of murder. This shooter was some kind of homegrown nut. We have plenty of them.
