Here some people have the habit to drink apple vinegar as they think it will be good for their health. Some time ago when a guest visited us, she brought two dozens of apple vinegar in can. My son and I like to drink it as well as soda

In my opinion the drawbacks are worse than the beneficial effects. The worst draw back is the erosion of tooth enamel, if you drink it every day you can be sure it happens. Another is it lowers the potassium in your body and causes bone loss.

@miketagz Eating bananas does not remove the negative effects of the acid on your teeth. As they are sweet they even create more problems to your teeth.

@miketagz You are perfectly right. You must limit the intake and only drink if necessary.

I do! I put a few drops in my water everyday when I wake up - my first drink of the day! They say there are many benefits. Ever since my husband has started too, he has not gotten heartburn - and he used to get that everyday . . . but he has to keep drinking daily or it will come back on the day he doesn't. For me, I think it has lessened by sweet tooth - and the bronchitis, coughing issues I ALWAYS had for years during this season has stopped!

That's amazing. I also heard that the squeeze the lemon juice into the water and it will be a healthy drink, too.

As it is acidic in nature, you should dilute it by adding one tablespoon of vinegar to a glass of water. If you don't, it'll be too acidic for your esophagus.

I have heard about people doing it daily for a body purification.. and thought about it. I just haven't really found a reliable study that has motivated me to believe it isn't just a new diet fad.
