Community's bad opinion on state-owned hospitals

State-owned hospitals have been stamped as giving poor service -- not maximal, workers being lazy, doctors coming very late, etc. These poor qualities have made patients reluctant to be medically treated or hospitalized there. Is the poor service given on purpose so that patients will seek private hospital or clinics? Patients usually have no objection to the high charge. Even poor patients are willing to borrow money in order that they can be given good treatment.
What's the hospital's service like in your area?

The more money you have, the better the service you get.

That is a common perception in my country too. But I think it has somewhat changed over the recent years. Now state hospitals also have advanced equipment too, although maybe the service still needs a lot of improvement.

i feel sorry for the nurses that have to deal with many patients and their families, while following doctor's orders and hospital rules.

Their salaries are low and when profit is high, their income is not affected.

@yanzalong We are very satisfied of our hospitals. The doctors are good and they always are on time when they fix an appointment.
